Guru Dr. Mrs. Swati Daithankar started her dance training in Bharatnatyam under the guidance of Guru Satyanarayan.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Bombay University, she furthered her dance training at Nalanda Dance Research Centre in Mumbai under the guidance of Padmashree Guru Mrs. Kanak Rele and Guru T. V. Sundarajan. She has also trained under Guru Mrs. Maithili Raghavan.

Guru Dr. Mrs. Daithankar has given stellar performances across India at prestigious platforms, and has toured the United States of America, Canada, Europe, and Asia and enthralled audiences with her spectacular performances and dance ballets that include “Rajas Sukumar”, “Sur ShyamRanga”, “Tejonidhi”, and “Padmini” to name a few. She is affiliated with the Lalit Kala Kendra (Savitribai Phule Pune University), Akhil BharatiyaGandharvaMahavidyalaya, and the Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

Kuchipudi

Guru Mrs. Gayatri Ambekar trained in Kuchipudi dance with Natya Visharad Guru Vempati Nageshwari.

She further completed her Masters of Arts in Kuchipudi from Hyderabad University under the guidance of Guru Dr. Uma Rama Rao. NrityaPriyaKuchipudi Dance Academy in Pune is her brainchild where she hopes to train students in Kuchipudi dance and make them artistes of international repute.

She has given morethan two hundred stellar performances in Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Banaras, Trivendram, Chennai, Bengaluruand many other cities all over India, as well as in South Korea, and has played the lead characters in many dance ballets including “BhaktaShiriyala”, “Veer Bhadra Vijayam”, “Ganga Gauri Samvadam”, “ShrinivasaKalyanam”, and so on.

Awarded the Nritya Nivedita Puraskaar by Akhil BharatiyaSanskrutik Sangh, Pune, she believes that devotion to your art form helps one seek peace within oneself.
